ArtHouse is a residential complex which has laid the guidelines for the development of an entire municipal district. It is situated on Serebryanicheskaya embankment, 1.5 km from the Kremlin, on the site where the famous artisans’ settlements once were. This historical continuity is faithfully preserved – for it is precisely here, in the Syromyatniki district, that a new creative class cluster is emerging. |

What used to be industrial premises, which have to a great extent played a crucial role as far as the landscape of Yauza’s left bank is concerned, now house art galleries, design bureaus, architects’ workshops, and small publishing houses. It is here that the new visage of this city – a visage that is both creative and dynamic, with vibrant street life, where people prefer walking or cycling and enjoy relaxing communication in landscape parks and small cozy cafes, - is being born. |

ArtHouse has become a mini model for the development of this district. Its dark-brown brick faсade and the pseudo-rusty metallic elements of the landscape design are reminiscent of the industrial architecture dominating the turn of XX century. The interiors pattern is dominated by Loft-style, so popular with the creative class the world over. |
This house stands every chance of becoming a local curiosity for this part of a town whose second birth we are witnessing. |

The building is surrounded by a small park with comfortable concrete runways and ramps. But the centre piece is that the ground floor is occupied by art galleries and other locations serving community needs. |
